Love this trail! I ride from the Silver Creek staging area to the end of the trail in Morgan Hill, then back again. This stretch of the trail is beautiful and, for a good part of the distance, parallels the Coyote Creek.

For me, it's a pretty easy ride. The rolling hills aren't a problem if you have gears. After a rain, the creek tends to get pretty full, so beware of trail closures due to flooding. Keep in mind that the winds tend to blow northerly, so you'll most likely encounter a headwind when you ride back north. Last thing to note, there's not a whole lot of cover for much of the trail. During the summers, the sun is brutal. Plan accordingly.

If you're really adventurous, ride a another mile or so past the end of the trail in Morgan Hill and you'll get to Lake Anderson. Climb up the hill (it's short but demanding) and you'll get to see...

Bonnet Creek is a real nice place to go walk in on the outdoors and or take a mountain bike or go hiking or running whatever you're into what kind of feeling you're feeling like but is a good place and Ice Trail you feel safe around there most of the time you got other people drug value sometimes you know they got a little rest stops I don't think there's bathrooms at all the all the trail that there is some of the trails like dogs the South End by Bernal and rotor and rotor butter Blossom Hill Menard off of Monterey Road that we got maybe if I have other restrooms the trail as you go to Margaret Hill or towards...

It's much better than the old entrance to Tomcats model airfield. The old one you need to jump a river to gain access. This one is longer all gravel but you can get through just fine. And that after all is what we're trying to do... No playgrounds restrooms are porta pots no dogs they're just not safe from the snakes or models and there's not really a picnic area either. But all in all it's a good place to fly if...

The Coyote Creek Parkway is a great place for a walk, run or a bike ride. The Parkway is approximately 15 miles long and runs from the north side of Morgan Hill near the Anderson Reservoir to Hellyer Lake in south San Jose. There are numerous bodies of water, rest stops and wildlife to view. There was a small grass fire in early September, 2020, but the trail was not damaged (thank you firefighters!).
