Love this trail! I ride from the Silver Creek staging area to the end of the trail in Morgan Hill, then back again. This stretch of the trail is beautiful and, for a good part of the distance, parallels the Coyote Creek.
For me, it's a pretty easy ride. The rolling hills aren't a problem if you have gears. After a rain, the creek tends to get pretty full, so beware of trail closures due to flooding. Keep in mind that the winds tend to blow northerly, so you'll most likely encounter a headwind when you ride back north. Last thing to note, there's not a whole lot of cover for much of the trail. During the summers, the sun is brutal. Plan accordingly.
If you're really adventurous, ride a another mile or so past the end of the trail in Morgan Hill and you'll get to Lake Anderson. Climb up the hill (it's short but demanding) and you'll get to see...

And that after all is what we're trying to do... No playgrounds restrooms are porta pots no dogs they're just not safe from the snakes or models and there's not really a picnic area either.
