Terrible experience. I was going to let it go but it’s been bothering me all week. I went in last week for the first time and will probably never go back again. First of all, the prices are ridiculously high for a thrift shop in Morgantown. While the store is huge and has a lot of neat stuff, I don’t know how I could afford any of it. I’m a wvu student I don’t have the kind of cash they’re asking for stuff. Was looking for clothes and furniture for my new apartment. The clothes are half the price at Walmart or online, and the furniture is unbelievable. The only couches that are affordable look like they came out of my grandparents basement. Anything decently nice isn’t even plausible. A chair costs more than a months rent at my apartment. Secondly, I was looking for some more dishes and was denied any help. First I couldn’t find any and when I asked an associate they acted like they knew as much as I did. After 10 minutes of searching I found a set of plates myself that I had some questions about, and another associate completely blew me off to finish something they were working on. I understand that workers are busy but a simple, “one moment sir, I’ll be right with you” is all I needed. I left frustrated and unhappy. 1...
Read moreEmployees were rude and weren't helpful to my wife. My wife was approached by a store employee because of the amount of items in her cart. Besides belittling my wife about the store policy about the quantities or the saying her cart was overflowing the employee should've check the cart and would've noticed that there wasn't nearly the amount she was complaining about. I think the employee could've have been more understanding and I don't appreciate the way she was talking to my wife. My wife was clearly upset and told the employee this and she was not going to come back again. The employee showed no compassion towards my wife. And I had asked her twice that my wife would need a dressing room. The employee had us waiting for over 20 minutes and never returned so I had to get another person to open the...
Read moreWe had a very bad experience at this store, the staff was very Unfriendly, they treated us as if we weren’t welcome to shop here,We were flood victims and our apartment collapsed as a result of the flood, we lost absolutely everything we had, and someone Blessed us with Gift cards for the Ranch Community Store, but we had no idea we would have been treated so badly, I honestly don’t even want to go back there, I ask two questions and the manner in which my questions were answered was totally Disrespectful, I have so much to say about this store and their horrible service and treatment, that I would be sitting here Typing for at least an Hour, therefore I’ll end this on a positive note, please treat people better and make them feel much more welcome and appreciated when they visit your store to...
