After an unfortunate incident with my 2013 Honda Civic, I was in the market for a newer Honda Civic. After a lengthy search, I found the car of my dreams at Mini of Morristown, which is about a 2.5 hour drive from where I live. After seeing the vehicle on auto trader, I reached out to the dealership, first speaking Giuseppe, who was great. He answered all my questions, and got me in contact with Lenny, who was amazing throughout the process. Lenny sent me a bunch of pictures and videos of the car and was a great communicator. My only concern with the vehicle was some road rash on the passenger side rims. Lenny and the leadership team at Mini had their “rim guy” repair everything for me before I took the vehicle home. This guy did fantastic job, and you would never know that the rims made contact with a curb. The only critical feedback I have is related to the amount of time it took me to receive my PA tag. Being an out-of-state buyer, I needed my tag and registration before I could get my car inspected. The tag eventually arrived 3 days after the temp expired, which was not a big deal. Lenny communicated with me throughout, and we learned that there was something new in PA, whereas of April, they stopped transferring PA tags, that began with specific letters, including E, which was my previous tag. I just had my PA inspection completed at a local dealership, and they were very impressed, as the vehicle had already had it’s 60k Maintenance performed (at 47k miles), which included transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant and filters. This undoubtedly saved me some $. Thank you, Giuseppe, Lenny and Team at Mini of Morristown for hooking me up with my dream car! There was another manger involved as well (Omar I think) who was great as well!

If they have negative rates I choose it. My wife visited Morris of Mini for engine oil change and tire rotation services. The mini cooper made in 2020 and 18k miles. She drop off her car and got messages form service team after 1hour. The massage was the vehicle need more services. They recommend 2 more services instead of our request. First, fuel injection cleaning. Second, brake pad change. We approved the first one that fuel injection cleaning but as you can see the attached picture. The picture shows the engine cover and engine room were covered dust. The picture was taken after service. How to injection cleaning with out cover off and hand touch. Some of finger prints was made by me. When my wife asking the fuel injection cleaning on the phone. The advisor mentioned likes manufacturing recommendations. I asked to proof it on the dealership, he changes his mention “that is not manufacturing recommend but normally customer do it. “ and they take $325 from us. The Second picture of brake pad shows that it doesn’t need to change that time but service advisor told us the brake pad has only 3mm left. We declined the service. At last, we request to tire rotation to make wearing the tire even but service advisor told us don’t need to rotation and no changes. I am a mechanical engineer who used to working related automotive manufacturing. I confidently I knew lots of maintenance procedures and maintained vehicle other dealers. I never have experienced this happening before. I do not recommend to using service here.

Meet the newest edition to the family... Earl Grey Came to Morristown Mini after seeing a Countryman with features I wanted online. I was quite disheartened after visiting a different mini dealership, but figured I’d give Morristown Mini a try. Tom was my salesman and quite chatty and patient with me. He knew the inventory and showed me every car that met my growing list of requirements (comfort access, s model, backup sensors, upgraded lights etc). I don’t ask for much 🤣 once we found a car that met all my requirements, I had the pleasure of working with Omar. I do mean pleasure in a non-sarcastic way. He was very helpful and bent over backwards to ensure I was happy with my purchase and experience. He even measured the tread on the tires and put the car on the lift so I could fully inspect the car with Jeremy. As the deal hinged on my trade in, Omar was honest and upfront stating he had to inspect the car and couldn’t make any promises but would try his best to get close to the value I wanted for the trade in. Ultimately I was able to buy the car I wanted, without feeling dirty or swindled after the experience. I usually don’t write reviews unless I had a great experience or absolutely dismal experience. Well, this one was amazing and thank you Tom, Omar, and Jerry for making it possible to buy Earl Grey!! ❤️

When I was having my car serviced one day, a woman whose son was about to purchase a Mini Cooper came over to the department and broadly asked the people waiting about what their experience had been. I immediately said to her "Have your son buy that car this minute and don't look back!" ANYBODY can buy a car anywhere, but the key factor most people don't account for is the quality of service after the check is signed. That young man was lucky his mother was an astute consumer.

Why?

Because the place where customer satisfaction and brand loyalty are truly born and nurtured is at the Customer Service Counter, NOT the sales desk. Prior to purchasing my Cooper, I owned a Lexus. I will never, ever buy another car other than from Mini of Morristown.

Why?

Because I feel safe driving a little car that gets a lot of TLC from Erving and his team. When I come in for a routine service, they check everything thoroughly. When I have a problem, they don't rest until it's resolved.

One time, I came in three times for a noise and Erving had me come back when the Shop Foreman, Bill could take a drive with me to see if they could determine the source. What other dealership DOES that today? Another time, my tire indicator said I had low pressure in one of them. I filled it with air. Two days later, the indicator light signaled again. I was going to Connecticut the next day. I pulled into Mini of Morristown without an appointment. Erving and his team worked me into the schedule and found a nail in my tire and fixed it while I waited. What other dealership DOES that today? The team smiles, they are patient and respectful of everyone. One day, I witnessed Erving handle a difficult and unappreciative customer with the utmost courtesy. NOTHING was going to make that man happy, but Erving didn't let that stop or bother his efforts to do so.

It doesn't stop at the Customer Service desk either. Why?

Because right after the New Year, I drove home after that snowy blizzard hit New England. When I started my car on Saturday morning for the long trip back from Boston, all FOUR of my tires were low. I knew it was from having the car parked in freezing temperatures. My washer fluid was frozen and wouldn't spritz. As I neared Morristown, I called the dealership to see if I could swing by to have this attended to. The first response was that the Customer Service department had closed for the day. I wasn't satisfied and said to whomever I spoke to that I was coming anyway and expected these simple tasks to be attended to. When I arrived, Gerry (in Sales) took over. He greeted me and was so GRACIOUS in his helpful and deft handling of my car. I waited in the Customer Service area with a cup of coffee (always delicious by the way) and when Gerry pulled up my car, it was even WASHED! Amy stopped by to chat with me and I was so impressed with these simple courtesies.

Amy and Gerry understand, as well as the Customer Service team: everybody's job is Customer Service.

Because of this unique spirit at the dealership, I carry the business cards of Mini of Morristown in my purse. I know one person who has purchased a Cooper Clubman at the dealership because of my enthusiasm. I've handed out your cards in parking lots and on the street to anyone who asks me about my Mini.

Why?

Because I owe it to the people who sold and service my Mini Cooper.

Thank you for your leadership in fostering this culture in your car business,

Sincerely,...

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with the MINI of Morristown dealership. The staff was very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I decided to stop by on a Thursday evening after work without checking their hours of operation and happened to arrive during closing time. Regardless of this, Jason (Lee) was very friendly and attentive, and took the time to talk to me without any rush. He even let me wander around sales floor for a few minutes to check out some of the floor models. I told him that I was looking to test drive a new Countryman and ,that depending if I like the car, I will be interested in financing one. We exchanged information and I told him I will be emailing him that evening with a list of the cars I was interested in from their dealer’s inventory, as well as how much I was looking to provide for downpayment and the amount I was looking to keep my monthly payments within.

We made an appointment for me to test drive one of the cars from my list the next day. Jason also introduced me to Kyle (Lightwood) - another member of his staff before I left. As it happened Jason was not be available to do my test drive the next day, but instead of canceling he contacted me and asked me if I would be ok with Kyle helping me instead so that I didn’t have to delay the test drive until he got back the next day. I told him I was ok with it, so I showed up the next day for my test drive. Kyle had a Countryman ready for me to test drive when I showed up for my appointment; it wasn’t the model that I originally wanted to test drive since that one had been accidentally taken to the wrong dealer. The car Kyle had prepared for me to test drive was very close to the one I wanted (from the price, to the color, and the accessories). He apologized for the inconvenience and gave me the choice to wait for the car I was originally interested to be brought over to begin the test drive, but I told him I was ok to go on and the test drive the model he had already prepared for me. The test drive went beyond well! When we got back to the dealer the car I was interested in was already waiting for me. I got the chance to check it out but at the end decided to go with the model I test drove instead. I was only $400 over my initial price range and I loved the added features it included. Kyle walked me thru the buying process (including my trade-in) and kept the numbers within my previously specified boundaries. He did not pressured me into anything and listen closely to my every concern. I came back the next day and finalized all the paperwork for the purchase.

I short I am very happy with my new Mini Countryman. Jason, Kyle, and Mohamed (from the financial services) were nothing but amazing to me. They made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. This was by far one of the best (if not the best) car purchasing experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the staff at MINI of Morristown, and I am looking forward to taking my Countryman to them for maintenance service...

OMG I LOVE THIS DEALERSHIP! Let me start by saying one of the most amazing people i've ever met or delt with was Jake. He sold me my 2014 Mini Cooper Convertible. I was never pressured into picking up extra packages or anything like that for my car. He was extremely knowlagable, helpful, and just a great representative for Mini of Morristown. They are extremely lucky to have him.

Kelly, Another representative I had the pleasure to deal with. She was very kind and Understanding. She called me and kept me up to date about the situation with my car. I happened to be unlucky and had a seal problem which the warrenty covered.

Maria, Another amazing person at Mini of Morristown. After Kelly had left for the night when I brought my car in to have the leak fixed, was so kind and talkative and made me feel so comfortable. I had to sit there for about an hour and a half waiting for my ride to come pick me up because of they were out of loaner cars (which only lasted a day and I was able to pick up a loaner). She actually Hung out there for a half hour while I was waiting for my ride to come pick me up so I could get home (as well as assisting any walk ins for various reasons).(I live 30-45 mins away based on traffic). Keeping me company so i wasn't just pacing around looking like I was loitering at the dealership.

Dave, Another Great person to deal with at Mini of Morristown. Amazing person to deal with so kind and polite just a complete pleasure.

These people are so amazing to deal with, if anything at all you need or have questions for or about they are the top people I would suggest to talk to! just a grand place to go to if you're looking for a Mini Cooper! Kellie is just amazing, had a small problem with my car that turned into a lot of time because the part was on back order. No problem, I'm in the customer service field and i understand. Thinks happen not much you can do about it. The loaner car was just amazing and they went WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY beyond anything necessary to compensate me for the loss of a month with out my car. WAY MORE THAN NECESSARY. KELLIE YOU...
