Church Street Park — Attraction in Morrisville

Amazing park and great facility.

On a normal day when no big games are happening, The park has plenty of parking. Two tennis courts, Trial, A big Cricket Stadium with LED lights and lights up the ground at night. It also has children playing area.

There are two rest rooms, very well kept and 1 big shelter which is great of yoga, picnic or just to sit and enjoy the game.

This facility is very well maintained and a great facility for Youth cricketing community.

SPECIAL NOTE : Just be careful and watchful about the cricket ball during the game. The cricket ball is very very hard and I mean it. It can break your bone, head or injure your kid. It is best not to be around the ground when during the game session. There are several warning boards around the ground to be watchful of cricket balls but i do see kids are left alone during the game session. Such a scenic cricket ground serving since 2015, located right at the heart of the RTP area with good restrooms, tennis courts and kids playing area. The only issue is the shortage of parking when some big sports events. I do not have a dog, but I hope it's pet friendly, too.

We can see a lot of upgrades since 2022, and it's all set for major league cricket 2023, which is going to start this week.

If all goes well and ICC approves this ground after the inspection later this year, we can expect some 2024 t20 world cup matches here, which is scheduled to play in West Indies and Usa.

Church Street Park is located in Morrisville. The park is well maintained. Plantation is very impressive and grass well maintained. It has got walking trails, children park with lot of swings, waiting area, a cricket pitch etc, The ambiance is nice. One can see children playing, and others walking.
