This is my first semester as a freshman and the vending machines on the first floor have been a consistent issue for me. I’ve tried every machine, but they ALWAYS take my money and NEVER dispense the drink or snack I select. I’ve even seen a guy successfully use the vending machine, but the flap was stuck and he couldn’t get his snack. The black fridge, located in the study/computer room hasn’t been restocked in a while, which adds to my frustration and makes me feel as if the staff is aware but unwilling to fix the issue. It’s inconvenient to have to dispute these transactions with my bank, especially when the refund process can take several days. Read moreI went from a 10th grade education and GED to graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with two majors. I contribute a large part of my successful journey to Wake Tech. The teachers care about the students, the classes are smaller and often lend themselves to more individualized attention, and there are plenty of opportunities to develop personalized relationships with Professors and staff. As I wait to hear back from Georgetown Law’s waitlist, I cannot recommend Wake Tech enough. Above all, the staff are very friendly and helpful with any information you need to know. Mr Sweeney is simply the best to talk to.
