This part is great BUT could be so much better for the community.
This is the only park, of the many parks in Morrisville, that has a basketball court. In the 8 years I've lived in Morrisville, I the basketball court at this location has been maintained or fixed as needed. The basketball court (surface) is in horrendous shape. I can't speak to the condition of the backboards or rims because I will not allow my son to play on the court out of concern for injury due to the surface condition. Within the town of Morrisville, I believe the only other outdoor option is at the back of the Community Center. This is really not a great option, especially during the summer, because the area is often in use for center activities. I would ask town/park officials to either care for and fix the basketball court at Shiloh Park or add a shuttle stop close to Cary's Carpentar Park so that children can more easily enjoy the...
Read moreNice quaint park! It has a basketball court and sheltered picnic tables and kids play area. The kids play area has been updated with foam mat material. The foam mat, swing, roundabout and slide were all too hot for the kids to play on at 10am. That left only the climbing ropes to play on. The kids area likely doesn’t get enough shade until 5pm to be mostly useable. A playground slightly down the road has shelter and looks to be a better option unless you need a basketball court....

Has a community center for rent for whatever.
Nice shelter with 12 tables underneath. Has a grill and several trash cans/recycling bins. Clean bathroom facilities. Small playground with basic kid stuff.
Don't know what the tobacco barn thing is exactly but there are two tables underneath it.
