Lots of steps though so pretty and loved the skyline sunset views. We tried to hike it in the morning and there was no parking so we came back for sunset - aka racing daylight. I wish we had our headlamps as I would have felt like that was our insurance policy to get back safely. That’s on me and not the trail just a recommendation if you’re hiking near sunset. Well marked and well kept trails. We passed a few people at sunset though mostly had the trails to ourselves. Loved that it was not ft on a trail with some stairs intertwined with hiking over giant granite boulders making it unique, fun and just a little challenging. There are blue spray painted trail markers which I appreciated so we knew we were always going the right way. It’s a bit steep in places though overall a perfect mix of elevation and challenge for this fairly short (1.3 miles out and back hike) well marked trail. This was a great hike and highly recommend with...

For an exhilarating experience in Acadia National Park, I highly recommend tackling the scenic trail offering breathtaking views of Jordan Pond from the summit. This trail presents a moderate challenge and can be completed comfortably in 1.5 to 2 hours, making it accessible for most hikers.

Once you ascend to a certain point, a choice between three destinations—North Bubble, South Bubble, or Bubble Divide—awaits. Although each spot is just 0.2 to 0.3 miles away, the North Bubble rewards you with remarkable vistas. While the South Bubble may lack extensive views, witnessing the iconic Bubble Rock makes the hike worthwhile.

Keep in mind that parking can be a challenge, so an early arrival is advisable. During our visit, it took around 30 minutes of waiting to secure a parking spot. If you're planning a trip to Acadia, ensure this trail is on your itinerary for an unforgettable adventure.

This is a really fun trail and worth the effort. It's a steep climb but doable for most. Just take your time. I recommend going to both the north and south bubbles. I would also recommend following the trail on past the north bubble and complete the loop back to the trail head parking. There are great views of eagle lake and the surrounding valley as you descend from the bubble down toward eagle lake. Well...
