As probably all of Mount Pleasant knows, the officer telling you that you can "dispute" your ticket, that you probably don't even deserve, is one of the biggest lies in history. What else can you expect from a money hungry town? I went to the court when I was told to and was greeted with a line of at least 100 people. To make this shorter than I plan on making it, Mount Pleasant's definition of "dispute" means charging you 125% of the original price and making it a non-moving violation. Well. I payed my money. So, almost 3 months later, my ticket is now a moving violation. And how was I made aware of this? My insurance company mailed me a letter and said because of this "ticket", my rates are going up. Not only is the Mount Pleasant judicial system corrupt, it also seems to be a bit slow in some areas. Now I have to wait to fix this garbage and I don't even know...
