Sugar Emporium — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

All wonderful things here! It is cute, clean, large seating area, a pretty wide selection of candies, chocolatea, and ol fashioned sodas. I was slightly dissapointed in their blue bell selection, had about 8 or so flavors. But hey, it is blue bell so you know that quality. I think I enjoy the homemade mega ice cream selections down the road in Pittaburgh a bit more, but I like variety! I ordered a orange sherbert and peach cream shake and it was delish! Kind staff, restrooms were in order. Kids loved it as they rarely get sugar and I let then pick like in willy wonka. ;) They do need more staff if you are looking...

What a gem for MP! Amazing, unique, & whimsical downtown MP throwback to sweet shops from years past. Great prices. Perfect for families. Wonderful & clean environment. Great ice cream and sweets you may have forgotten about from your childhood! My root beer float (Chocolate Cow) was served in an ice cold frosted glass mug & I got to choose my own root beer from the wall (about 5 different brands)! family chose various Blue Bell ice cream flavors served in waffle cones. Big servings & very fair pricing....

We had a private birthday party here. We had them bake the cake, had ice cream, and access to everything in the store. Everything was great! The place was spotless (as always, and especially the restroom!), we had music, plenty of space, and the cake was EXCELLENT (and gluten-free, per our request)!
