Sisters Bistro — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I’ve been meaning to try this place for years, but haven’t gotten around to it until today. This is the closest thing to a Luby’s that Mount Pleasant can muster. Geared for an older crowd, the food here is hearty, good, and country. They offer different specials every day, and today was fried pork chops. They offer the regular buffet, salad, and dessert options. They also have a full menu available as well.

The only reason why I reduced their score was that some of my food was bland and cold. I am incredibly picky with my food, so others may not experience this. The restaurant is extremely popular and was busy nonstop from when we walked in...

Best Buffet in the entire city. Everyday all-you-can-eat or Order AlaCarte. Drive thru window allows you order and continue with your trip. Today they had Chicken Fried Steak, slices of Smoked Sausage, Corn, Green Beans, Colared Greens, Mashed Potatoes, Carrotts. Great Salad Bar. Unlimited self serve Coffee-Tea-Soft Drinks. DESSERT was Great, Peach Cobbler, Chocolate Cake with ton of frosting, Cookies.

Other days I have had Fried Chicken, Meatloaf, Liver & Onions, Turkey & Dressing.

Small dinning area has tables close to each other but it had led to some interesting conversations with the friendly locals.

I'm from Houston. Working out of town and came here to sisters bistro to give it a try. I absolutely love this home town feel and especially the country homestyle cooking! I met one of the sisters and she is just a beautiful soul. The food here is amazing. I had catfish, 3 crab cakes! Mash potatoes and gravy, jalapeño cornbread, coleslaw, and the stew. Just the best and extremely reasonably priced. Makes me want to just up and move here. I hope you come and support these women bc they are definitely working...
