Siskiyou Ice Rink — Attraction in Mount Shasta

We love to come here, but it is not kid friendly. They do not have enough skate helpers to go around, and they were all taken by adults, leaving kids causing hazards on the ice from falling. When asked if they had anymore, we were very unkindly informed by staff that "they'll open up". It sucks that we paid $40 for our kids to skate for 10 minutes of an already short skate time...

A group of us went down for a teen birthday. It was really great. Out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees it was beautiful. 15 of us enjoyed the ice and skates around happily. The only downside was that the ice was a bit wet for the first 2 hours, but after that the ice machine paves it again and it was perfect. Loved...

Lovely little rink! Not too expensive and staff is very friendly. On a heavy traffic day the ice gets a lot of ruts fairly quickly, but that's just part of the experience. Music was a good volume, not too loud. Everyone was polite and considerate of each other. Definitely hope to go...
