Riverside Park — Attraction in Mount Vernon

Definitely not a good experience. Instead of fulfilling our order when we arrived, the employees were fulfilling multiple orders (the main reason for the mistakes). Then, they didn't give us all our food, and when I said something, the girl looked at me and said, "I already gave you your hot dog." Actually, I ordered two, and she didn't! I also didn't get my large cup for my drink! Even after telling the employee I was still waiting on my hot dog and a cup, she gave me my hot dog but not my cup, so I had to say something yet again to get my drink! I'm beyond disappointed. I left a 15% tip; however, had I known how terrible the service was, I wouldn't have tipped anything! Also, the food was subpar. It definitely wasn't worth the wait or being spoken to like I'm a thief trying to get a free hot dog. 🤦‍♀️ Honestly, if you want great ice cream with amazing service, check out Round Hill Dairy! This is a large park. Lots of different play areas for all ages. Pickleball and basketball courts, large covered picnic table areas, built-in grills, one baseball diamond, handicap accessible playground equipment, a fountain, and a nice gazebo are among the amenities here. It's a nice park. The only thing is the ground up tires on the big portion of the play ground wasn't the best decision. When it's hot and sunny they attract the heat and will literally burn your feet. And in the past drug addicts would stay there at night and my grandkids found a needle by the bathrooms. I think they need to lock it at night and police should check it regularly through the night so they can't go there and do their drugs and leave...
