Dry Run Creek runs parallel to the Norfolk fish hatchery, and some effluent from the hatchery enters it. The creek provides the opportunity to go fly-fishing, and there are training demonstrations for kids. When I visited there was an elderly volunteer demonstrating efficient knots and fly types. If you're fishing nearby it's worth visiting. There is also a ramp boardwalk to access SOME of the observation walkway.

Great place for kids under 16 years of age and disability affected people to fish! It is exceptionally well maintained and is grandparent friendly with benches and easy access to the river while grandkids fish! 10/10 recommend!

We loved taking our kids here. They had so much fun. Clean bathrooms. Lots of fish caught. Even the fishery workers were super nice to us and walked us all through the facility to show...
