Harbour Towne Marina — Attraction in Muskegon

As transient slip users, we considered ourselves fortunate and grateful for our time at Harbour Towne. Since this is a dockominium, the slips are basically sublet from the owners and its a bit of a process to ensure that slips are available in the transient pool. But the staff at HT did a great job fitting us in and we had a great stay. All of the usual amenities are available and the people we met were wonderful. The marina is situated in a quiet area at the end of the road that goes past beautiful Pere Marquette Park and the main beach. This place is a treasure! You won’t be there for even 10 minutes before making a few friends. Staff cannot be beat, their genuine welcome, desire to please and attention to detail is second to none. Thank you to all, especially Sydney! Place is immaculate, everything works! and boasts the largest marina ‘library’ I have ever come across. Resident boaters extend the best welcome and make you sad to leave. We even had folks offering to ferry us into town for supplies. We love the location however each time we come in, with a reserved slip, the slip is taken and we have to wait up to 40 minutes for the dock hand to sort it out. Short staffed on dock hands as well. If we were coming in at night that would be horrible. Will not try again. Next time we will do Safe Harbor. Also, Dockers is closed so the only food option is the Deck out on the beach. Seems very...
