Dare I say the highlight of my day! First visit to Napa ever, second winery today. We were early for our reservation just down the road and were lucky enough to see a sign that indicated walk-ins were welcome. Welcome and more! Sean was our guide and his demeanor was so professional, yet welcoming. He accomodated us with no issue. I was BLOWN away by some of the wines we tasted. I have a fairly discernable palate and was very pleased to be able to sample wines from the same location grown 2 years apart (2018 & 2020) and be able to taste such a difference. Yummm...I tend to not pick the Cabs as my preferred red, but let me tell you, Mathew Bruno is putting a whole new level out and the bar is high. DO NOT- skip this tasting room if you have a chance. The building and grounds are phenomenal. I could have stayed an entire weekend in this beautiful place- which is odd because the location is just off the road, but the interior and porch transport you magically. It is exquisite and you can tell it was created with the utmost care and attention to detail. I look forward to knowing this brand in the...

This was our last stop of the day and I’m thrilled we did. Doesn’t hurt that they’re located right next to the best tacos in Napa too 😉. Probably the best surprise of our trip.
Sean was accommodating, knowledgeable and treated us like family. The wine was spectacular and the grounds and building were well thought out, clearly took time to execute and the kind of place you’d want to bring someone to show off that “you knew about”. Their wine club was the only one we joined on this adventure, particularly because the wine was that good. Priced right and delivered as promised. I look forward to the years to come and see this place grow in popularity as it’s well deserved.
Don’t skip Matthew Bruno on your next...

The Pinot Noir, in particular, was a full bodied experience that seamlessly bridges the transition from white to red in a way that foreshadows the depth of the reds to come yet offers something everyone will enjoy.
The staff: Sean, Ashley, and Victoria, all worked to provide a hospitable experience with the right amount of personal anecdotes and technical viticultural details. They are tremendous ambassadors for the wine and their authenticity adds a layer of credibility often lacking at...
