It took hours and days of poring over various winery websites and finally choosing Robert Biale Vineyards — but I must say everything happens for a reason! We were celebrating 2 birthdays and we wanted the wine-tasting (many first-timers in the group) to be intimate, laid-back, relaxed and just enjoyable. We had all that and more.
Mark was BEYOND AWESOME! He had EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE SKILLS and we have to say added so much flair to the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable — giving us extensive information about wines, the vineyard, the winery. We had questions and he was very engaging. With Mark, the wine-tasting was a storytelling adventure. Each sip of the wine offerings that afternoon allowed us to appreciate all the wine notes. Robert Biale is lucky to have Mark — he is a gem!
Although the buds were still starting to show, gazing at the vineyard with the view of the Vaca Mountains that Sunday afternoon was just one of the most relaxing Sundays we have ever had!
Visitors should try the Black Chicken — and hear the interesting piece of story of how it came to be.
From reservations — thank you Stephanie — to the end of the wine-tasting, choosing Robert Biale Winery is definitely one of the best decisions ever. Most times, your gut feel just tells you it’s right, amidst a plethora of choices.
Thank you Mark for this excellent experience! We will definitely be back! (Visited Biale Vineyard...

Not wine by the numbers. Not wine for the masses. Not wine to maximize profit margins. Wine as God intended it. Wine that is expressive of people not just the price point. Names on bottles that speak volumes. Blood, sweat, & tears. Stories that span generations. Vines that last for centuries. You tell me: is this something I can even review on social media? I can damn well try. Shout out to the hard working men & women who call this place home. Should you be lucky enough to find this place, tell them Bradley N. sent you. Trust me:...

No outside food is allowed, and the only food offered to pair with wine is dry breadsticks. When we asked about comping tastings with wine purchases, we were misled to believe that 3 bottles would comp a tasting. However, when we went to purchase bottles, we were told that the rose we wanted is the one wine that doesn't apply for comps. We feel that the $50 tasting wasn't worth it (unless all you...
