Brennan Champion Nashville Hairstylist — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I recently moved to Nashville and was looking for a good stylist. The one I had in San Diego is the best stylist I've ever had. I was hoping that this salon would measure up. So, I booked an appointment to get a trim, nothing more than that. The communication and reminders were great for my appt at 6PM. Arrived about 10 mins before and Kammie was still in the process of working on her current client. I knew she wouldn't be finished in 10 mins. She was apologetic and told me that she was running behind and she'd get to me shortly. After about 40 mins of waiting (I was almost ready to walk at that point and didn't do so sooner because of the hassle of having to rebook or look elsewhere), she finally ushered me into the chair. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she proceeded to chat and cut. She seemed frazzled and mentioned that a client of hers cancelled last minute and that put her schedule off (or something like that). Meanwhile, her other client took a seat elsewhere. So, we finished pretty quickly and Kammie again apologized for being so late and then gave me a discount for the inconvenience. The reason I'm only giving 2 stars: (1) I never received a call to let me know she was running behind and to give me the option to reschedule without driving there. (2) My hair was trimmed and the back was uneven and choppy. I noticed it once I got home and restyled it. (3) Even though I received a discount for the wait, I still overpaid (over $50) for a bad haircut. I never went back to have it fixed because I have no faith in her ability to do it right despite the good reviews, which was why I booked with her in the first place. Apparently, I caught her on a very bad day or she's just not the stylist I'm looking for. Maybe it's both. Either way, I won't be booking anymore appointments with...

Kammi is amazing. At the recommendation of a couple friends with great, shiny blonde hair I booked an appointment to lighten my hair the way I wanted it. Kammi listened to me and got my hair exactly how I wanted! When I get my hair done, being able to talk to the stylist is one of the most important things I look for. I had the absolute best experience at Honey Magnolia. I’ve colored my hair myself for years because I’m so particular about the shade but, decided to visit Kammi and I’ll never go back to DIY hair color. I was also so excited to work with a stylist who is accustomed to working with long, thick hair. Absolutely do yourself a favorite and book with Kammi, even if you feel like you should start with a blow out and go back for more later. Just...
