Roughly a 1.4 mi trail. The starting loop has little to no shade and is around 0.4 mi, the straight in between the 2 loops is 0.25 mi , and the second loop (which has the most shade) is around 0.65 mi. I know I’m missing 0.1 miles somewhere in there, but you get the idea! There are 7 parking spots at the entrance. There is no designated handicapped spot, but the first spot does have a blocked off area next to it. This does go across a small little access road that appears to be to someone’s house. You only technically need to cross it once, and every side has stop signs. As another person mentioned, there are bullet holes on one side of the trail map, but I never felt unsafe while there. There also is an area that seemed unfinished, so maybe they’re going to potentially expand toward the duck pond? Overall a nice little walk/run, but wish it was longer!

I absolutely loved this trail. It's tucked in a neighborhood in Old Hickory and it's so peaceful. Not a ton of walkers which is nice for your dogs who aren't great with other dogs. It's a relaxing stroll with plenty of beautiful green trees everywhere. Really nice weekend morning or afternoon run, dog walk, or stroll.

I absolutely love the entrance to this place with the bamboo and then once you get started on this Trail it was a nice serene trail covered in trees and very secluded. Also the length of the loop makes you travel farther because you can't just skip many sections to it.

It's one of the least crowded greenways, which is nice- mainly because no one knows about it. But it's awkwardly situated behind people's houses in Lakewood so you're basically walking in the middle of a neighborhood. Not a bad area, but still keep your eye out. My dog doesn't seem to be too comfortable when we go which is always a red flag to me, and we have run into a couple of weirdos I didn't feel too good about. This usually doesn't bother me on the greenways because we're usually constantly surrounded by others, but it's just a bit eerie and iffy when there's no one really around. I'm probably just being paranoid, but I find it's usually good to trust your instinct about this kind of thing. It's been better on weekends when it's more crowded, but I just feel a bit..out of place going there on a week night. It's almost more like a neighborhood walkway than an official greenway IMO. It's like I pull up and people look at me wondering how I know about...

Great park for a little "walk in the woods." There are a few paths into the woods but the main path is nice and paved. It loops around, so when you come to the fork in the road go either way! It's a little less than 1.5 miles. Nice place to walk the dog, run, herd the kids, scooter, rollerskate/blade, or leisurely ride a bike. 1st timers- there are two drives take the first on on the right. One way in,...
