Fantastic! The folks here give you a small tour and explain all the major parts about the home including the dining tables, different rooms, architecture of the walls, pictures, dry sink, etc. With many parts roped off to be an exhibit and narrow hallways, it can get packed inside the home really quickly so keep that in mind if you’re visiting in a large group. Make sure to stay until the end of the tour and check out the back yard where the sheep are; they love to come up to the fence and say hello! 🐑 Great experience all around!

It was a really cool experience to tour the house of Brigham Young! The LDS church did a great job with the restoration of the house, and Nauvoo as a whole! Friendly Missionaries were there to provide cool historical information about the site!

The restored home of man who became the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after Joseph Smith died. It shows what the living conditions were like for a large family in Nauvoo at the time of the Mormon Exodus. It includes furniture and other belongings from the Young family. One room is where the early church leaders met for their meetings. The place has a special spirit about it. If you are a member this is a must see stop...

This is my wife's favorite place on our tour of Nauvoo. See is always telling me stories of Brigham Young. This house was build around 1842. Brigham Young, the second President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, leader of the Church's movement to the West, and first territorial...
