This is a trail with a number of interpretive markers extending from historic Nauvoo to the Mississippi River to commemorate the Mormons leaving Nauvoo to head west after being essentially expelled by the people of Illinois. Great views of the Mississippi River and the Nauvoo Temple. Beautiful walk. Part of the Nauvoo Historic District, a carefully restored early Mormon settlement on the banks of the Mississippi River.
