Code Wiz - Needham, MA — Attraction in Needham

This is a wonderfully encouraging place for students to collaborate and have fun learning to code. I highly recommend this hidden gem. My high school daughter has taken Python classes elsewhere last year but ended up learning nothing and feeling discouraged. Luckily her positive experience at Code Wiz has renewed her love of coding. They have talented and wonderful instructors (especially David and Eric) and the infrastructure, curriculum, and equipment setup and maintained well for student usage. In between all the learning my shy teen also enjoyed that they built in breaks to play popular console games and foosball with the other students. I panicked when my son asked me to find a program to help him understand how video games are made. I have near zero knowledge regarding this field.

Luckily, I found Code Wiz Needham. I’m incredibly grateful. We attended the Open House in September. My son was able to try different programs, and they genuinely listened to his interests and helped him find the right group for him. Despite being a little younger than the recommended age, they allowed him to join the class he was most interested in participating.

He has learned so much in a short time. He loves his small class and the students he sees every week. He hates leaving.

My son had an absolute blast at the Code Wiz camps! We first discovered Code Wiz when he attended a friend's birthday party there, and he couldn't stop raving about it. The ambiance is vibrant, the coaches are adept at making complex coding and robotics concepts fun and engaging. The Director brings a warm and welcoming energy, and the owners are both approachable and supportive. I'm grateful for the innovative learning experience they've provided for my child.
