Kostas Pizza & Seafood — Restaurant in Needham

Wow, This Review is LONG overdue- I have been coming off and on for over 5 years, as I do reside in Newton Centre.

Although we have our fair share of pizza and sub shops near by, nothing speaks in volumes about Kostas

Such legendary food! They are worthy of 10 STARS. Ultimate freshness, they never compromise. Today I got the steak tip salad and the falafel wrap and oh boy they don’t disappoint

I have gotten their pizza in the past, no wonder they are ranked sky high with glowing reviews! Their signature pita is heavenly

The owner knows the regulars by name, they are very accommodating and offer a huge menu so tons of variety, including seafood.

He even offered to get a RED snapper fish with 2 days notice! Only place I know locally that has red snapper is gyro kebab house in Needham and Norwood

But again I used to come back in the day when I would see the Father Operate the shop! The son is there regularly and they truly hustle and work tirelessly. No doubt Job well done as they are truly exceptional and go ABOVE and Beyond!

Please GO pay them a visit, it will be your go to spot, Cash Only, with a fully functional ATM on the premises! The PITA is made Fresh...

Quality of food is dependent on the day. Pizza or calzones is usually solid regardless. Fried food is hit or miss either overly dry or drenched in oil. Staff is loud and/or overly aggressive which makes for a suffocating environment. Orders made over the phone are more likely to be improperly fulfilled (missing items) and so oftentimes upcharged once paying. Parking is difficult so try the lot across the street or Roche’s. Post-inflation prices have made justifying what once was a cheap and tasty meal difficult for the product they put out now. Disappointing compared to what once was. The frequent emotionally charged responses by the owner to certain reviews perfectly reflects the quality of food, service, and experience one...

Just had dinner here with our daughter who just moved to Needham. Kosta's has a margherita pizza with red sauce that looked amazing coming out of the oven for a customer in front of us BUT our daughter was thinking white or pesto. These guys rock as they said "no problem" and made a fresh batch of pesto and then went full margherita on that. Love that they said no problem and then pulled it together without hesitation!! We named it Kosta's Alexandra Margherita pizza. Looking forward to our next visit from North Carolina in the near future! ...
