Dragon Chef — Restaurant in Needham

First off, I purchased 3 items and it totaled $44.30. Paying that amount, I figured this is probably some decent chinese food. I was actually visiting Massachusetts at the time and was like maybe I'll get some chinese food. The worse decision ever, such disappointment. This was just about the worst chinese food I've had in the history of eating chinese food. The Beef Lo Mein was made with fettuccine noodles ???, the beef was so chewy and it had no flavor at all. The $14 Spareribs had only 4 pieces and spared the meat and the 6 pc $15 Chicken Wings should have stayed in the coop. Well, here's where my life motto comes in...YOU ONLY GET ME ONCE!! Shame...

Small takeout Chinese restaurant with a window to see the kitchen. This has been a go to for takeout when I'm in the area for many years. I grabbed a few items the other night. Egg Rolls, Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Wings. Their Chicken Wings use to be a favorite of mine. They were good but I feel as though the depth of the flavor is slipping a little. The Egg Rolls were very solid. They weren't celery base, but still had a nice flavor. Here is the killer part. The Beef Teriyaki was gray with a mushy coating that just tasted like vinegar. Ordered the orange chicken with chicken fried rice and crab rangoon. The orange chicken tasted okay at best but the texture was gross, the chicken fried rice tasted like someone put a cigarette out in it (completely inedible). Even the crab rangoon wasn't that good, which is surprising because I have never had crab rangoon that I didn't like from anywhere until I ordered from this restaurant. Rarely ever throw my food away, but I threw away most of this meal because it was so nasty. Absolutely horrible, total waste of $20+. Will never be ordering...
