Kimberly Point Park — Attraction in Neenah

Came to the Neenah-Menasha area to look at a house that was for sale and while here we drove around to see the area. The Kimberly Point Park has a beautiful drive leading to and thru it. The park is beautiful and well maintained the lighthouse that is part of the park which is on the lake edge was great it has restrooms built into the base and a great boardwalk along the lake edge. There is a dedication plaque near the lighthouse explaining how the park came to be with the help of a member of the Kimberly family it's a great read and a tribute that's well deserved. The Lake Dr project is completed and open to Kimberly Point Park. Even with all the controversy and disagreement surrounding the project it looks good and safer for pedestrians and motorists. But back to Kimberly Point Park. This is the park with the lighthouse on lake Winnebago. There are a lot of parking spots for the size park. There are bathrooms in the lighthouse. We like to take elderly Mom out for a drive to go for a walk and this park is always engaging and entertaining. From watching boats going in/out 🚤... seeing birds like pelicans, ducks and geese 🦅 ... the Pokemon players wandering with their cellphones out in hand 🚶‍♂️ ... the people just out walking about enjoying the park ... the dogs 🐕 being walked or sometimes walking their owners 😉 there is always something to see. From the beautiful gardens, BIG trees and the lovely fountain area ...
