Jim Kelly’s Nugget in Kings Beach is where optimism comes to get mugged under sputtering neon and the lingering perfume of stale smoke. The slots hum like a busted fridge, lulling you into submission, and the carpet looks like it lost the will to live sometime around the Reagan administration. But the real buzzkill? Lisa, the bartender. She’s elevated neglect into an Olympic sport. You could be on fire at the bar and she’d still find a reason to polish a glass three tables away. We’re bleeding thousands into this casino, and she treats pouring a Jack and Coke like it’s coming out of her kid’s college fund. Want a drink? Better odds at walking out the door, hitting the joint next door, and coming back before she even notices you exist. Think about that: in a casino—the one place engineered to keep you glued to your seat—it’s more efficient to leave for alcohol. So yeah, gamble if you want. The slots will gut you, the tables will toy with you, and Lisa will make sure you die of thirst while it happens. But don’t worry—she’s never going to read this anyway. Customer reviews don’t matter here. At Jim Kelly’s Nugget, the house always wins… unless the house is Lisa, in which case, nobody does.

Dipping my onion rings in cheese sauce while I play. That's how I like my summertime gambling. Nowhere but Jim Kelley's Nugget in Crystal Bay, NV. Because "🎼🎶sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name🎵".

A hole in the wall casino but we had a great time there. The service to get a drink was awesome and the staff was very friendly. They have a great little food place on the patio right outside.

Warning: ASK before ordering how long the wait is. Just ordered a burger there on my lunch break. Place seemed nearly empty, I was polite & tipped. A little over 30 minutes later I asked for an update because I figured the order didn’t go in. Another 10 minutes later, I received the one burger I ordered. Didn’t see any other burgers being brought out. People who ordered almost 30 minutes after me got their burgers when I got mine. I asked if it was the type of burger I ordered that caused the delay and was told no but there were “lots of orders”...

Wow just wow (food wise this is not a review of casino itself) usually when i go to eat and see something with a single burger around 12$+ i just know I'm gonna be ripped off but no the burgers here we're genuinely good the price felt worth it, not to mention the Tacos were genuine Mexican tacos even my mother was surprised when she realized a white guy cooked them since he really captured the Mexican spirit in tacos and salsa overall u will be back when...
