Beautiful property and we had a good time but there were a few negatives. It was very busy and packed but we still were able to do what we wanted to. I will say, some of the staff was pretty rude with the guests when they asked questions but I’m sure they had a long day(mostly the older guys driving the tractors) A lot of people weren’t sure how the whole “you pick” operates and there’s no clear signage of where to line up out in the fields or that you have to get back on a certain wagon to go to the next spot, etc so it was a chaotic cluster of people trying to be the first to get on the wagons and there was no civilized order whatsoever. Lots of people had questions about the order in which we were stopping because some wanted apples, some wanted grapes etc. And one lady asked the driver when they would go to the grape section and he snapped at her that they had already been past there and that if she wanted to go she had to walk. Completely rude and for no reason because she was just asking a question. It would be nice to have some sort of markings to keep lines organized in the field and a sign explaining the order of stops(first grapes, next peaches etc). The live music was great (although extremely loud that my watch gave me a high decibel warning) and some people had infants out there with no hearing protection. The farm store was nice as well although extremely pricey, I mean, I’m not paying $9.99 for a small jar of tomato sauce or jam that isn’t even made on the property, it’s just labeled for their store like the Amish stores products. The apple slushies were $4.99 here for a small cup and typically they cost $3.50 for a 16oz one elsewhere. Prices are just extreme in my opinion. The one true negative I have to share is the food truck that sells the fries, taco, hot dogs etc.. the food they have was beyond stale and old and they should be ashamed to serve people old food for the price they are charging. The fries were terrible and the hotdog and chili was cold, the cheese didn’t even melt. Also, be mindful if you buy the pre picked baskets of peaches in the store without thoroughly inspecting them…. We bought one basket and the peaches on top were beautiful and firm, however, when we got home and took them out of the basket all of the ones underneath were moldy and bad, like they hid the old ones underneath to sell them which seemed pretty dishonest and...

I have been here multiple times and it gets better and better every time. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The grounds are beautiful. The spirits and wines are such a wide and collective selection. The “port barrel bourbon” and “spiced rum” were my two favorites that I will be adding to my “at home selection”. The “tasting tour” took us through more than just “one room” that I have seen on other winery tours. We even got to see where the bottles were filled. The knowledge of everything else on the tour was great though. Pat our tour guide was knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. It’s nice to hear that she was close to one of the owners, which really speaks to the sense of community and family this place has! I have been on this tour multiple times and I still learned something new! I spent the entire day here with my (me in my 30s) dad (in his 60s) for Father’s Day and there were so many activities. Tastings, lunch, listening to live music, sitting by the pond in a sack chair, walking around the property, your, wagon ride, ice cream, and probably my favorite part, the farmers market! Best strawberries I have had this year and fresh produce, bakery, packaged soups/pasta, jams, and so much more. I ended up doing my grocery shopping here. I love that everything is grown on site and the passion and resourcefulness they practice. If I could make one suggestion, the “wagon ride” was a bit disappointing as it was too short and we couldn’t hear much of the info over the speaker in the back. Would have loved to see a bit more or the property, as what was shown was what we could already see by car driving into the orchard/winery There is a kids area in which, you are never too old to go down the “mountain slide!” It’s a great place for the young and old, families, couples, girls day, and kids. Thank for you adding to this special Father’s Day experience. Can’t wait to take my best...

I have come to hubers for years and each year the people running the farm market have gotten worse and worse.. I went inside to ask to simply get more strawberries in the store since the u-pick drivers are taking customers to spots that have already been picked clean. With the $3 voucher you buy now (which is feasible if you can pick $3 worth of fruit) but if you are simply unable to pick enough it's not fair. So, I asked if we could purchase the fruit they had already picked. I know that's asking a lot, but for the situation I figured that's only fair considering they did not take him to a good picking patch. Unfortunately when we went in to ask about this, the cashier literally yelled at me "that's not my decision!" Next she eyes someone behind us. I started to her that there's no reason to yell.. I understand she's frustrated but you never tell at a customer. She admitted that she had been having a bad day then went on to ignore me and start drinking her coffee. Finally, the manager came over and defended the cashier that yelled at me after I had told her what had happened and she asked me why I was so angry. I said that I wasn't angry, I was frustrated that I had been yelled at the told the cashier that you never yell at customers in a customer service environment especially if it wasn't warranted then the manager stated she couldn't refund any of the ride voucher fee and refused to allow us to buy any of the strawberries inside at the u-pick rate, but did offer to let my husband go out again and she would get the driver to go to a different field to pick. Honestly though, after the cashier yelling at us and her indifference to our feelings and how the cashier treated us, I am done coming here. There are better markets closer that treat their customers better. I'll just miss coming to a place I've been coming to for over 20 years because the staff has gotten so nasty. Good...

A quaint family adventure can be found here! We have visited Huber’s winery a good amount of times in 5 years and we have seen a good improvement to their wine and recently bourbon spirits. They have a good seating arrangement for guests to be outside and enjoy the weather with perhaps live music to freshen up the ambiance. They have a great big bakery and fresh produce offerings as well with seasonal treats and sweets! Although it is a winery, children can also enjoy this part of Huber’s farm. As there is an ice creamery and coffee shop, but their coffee options need some updating and a better taste in my opinion as the price for a bland americano that’s $5 seems off. We went recently for the fall, which is a great time to visit. They had pumpkin patches, lots of festive treats such as delicious apple cider or pumpkin spice donuts made fresh at their donut stand. And with the trees changing color, it is a nice place to relax. Their pizza is good, and their drink selections are top notch! I strongly recommend their cigar old fashioned, although it seems pricey, it’s worth it! Now for a few critiques. I give them 4 stars, as I wish they would upgrade their parking capacity and have walking paths for guests to use without having to dodge cars as it can be a busy affair. They do offer a handicap parking section, but no attendant to keep other drivers from parking there too that we saw. I recommend parking lines to help people park efficiently. Having tables next to the stage speakers make for an unpleasant seating experience, so a better audio placement is also recommended. Check it out! You will not be disappointed!

Every single year for 40+ years my Dad would take his kids to Huber’s orchard to pick fruits and pumpkins. It was such a huge part of our lives growing up and the obvious place to go to remember him. And I am so grateful we did. Their employee John was so kind and helpful in making some wine and bourbon selections. When we inquired about getting a tour of their distillery Audra was more than happy to give us a private tour. While chatting with her we explained how much Huber’s has always meant to us and that today was the one year anniversary of our Dad’s passing. She was genuinely excited that we were back to honor and remember this tradition he had with his kids. Some of the Huber family were actively bottling a double barrel french oak bourbon whiskey that was a private selection barrel. When my brother expressed how awesome it would be to have a bottle that was bottled on the anniversary of his passing Audra told us to sit tight for a moment and went to talk to the family. They were all touched that we were back and why and decided to set not only one bottle aside for us but 6 bottles! My family and I can’t express enough how much this made our day. Thank you John, thank you Audra for making this visit so incredibly memorable and for sending us home with more smiles than tears. Huber’s will always hold a special place in our hearts. From one family to another, thank you Huber’s!!! We look forward to making memories at your family orchard for another 40+ years.

Where do I begin, definitely one of southern Indiana's GEMS. Definitely fits the description of "Honest to Goodness Indiana" with it's Honest to Goodness Fruits, Veggies, homemade cheeses, homemade Ice Cream, Wines, Bourbons, Breads, Sauces, sunflowers, just to name a few. In addition, Hubers also fits the definition of Honest to Goodness countryside beauty, hospitality, and family fun. You can pick (U-Pick) just about any kind of fruit or vegetable at Hubers and the quality of their stuff is phenomenal, second to none, delicious, healthy, and very pleasing to the eye especially their blackberries which are some of the best on this whole earth!!! In addition, they also have a kids friendly playground and play area where kids can be kids and have a grand old time. They also have live music on the weekends and family fun activities year round for the whole family to enjoy. Huber's has definitely established itself as a legend and fixture in Southern Indiana and the world of agriculture. As a word of caution, Huber's is a very popular place and attraction for obvious reasons, if you really want the full pick your own experience without all the hustle and bustle of the weekends, I would definitely recommend coming on an off weekday. No visit to Southern Indiana is complete without a visit to the legendary Huber's Orchards and Winery, you won't be disappointed!!!!
