This park has become mostly just a dog park. They USED to have swings, a slide, seesaws, and stuff for kiddos to play on, but they've removed ALL of it, and left it empty. There are only a few "In Memory Of" benches and a couple picnic tables to sit on, otherwise, it's mainly a place for dogs to play (they still have to be on leashes though, so you can't let them free-play) or to go fishing. I used to love bringing my kids here, it was never too crowded and it was closer to home than the Walter and...

This is a beautiful park, quite peaceful and a great place for a swim. The park is not 24 hour as Google says but is open from 6 am to 9 pm. There is no overnight parking and the police will tell you to leave if you do try. There is no longer a grill but there are tables and benches to sit at. The porta-potty is often full and dirty so use at your own risk. Great place for dogs and please do clean up for yourself...

Be advised: This is NOT really a "dog park", as it was suggested when I was visiting the waters edge in New Baltimore yesterday. Basically, dog's are welcome and they provide poo bags, but dogs must be kept on a leash and there's really no place for them to swim in the lake (as I had been told). There's a wide open grassy lawn, but no fenced in areas. Lot's of people fishing. That's...

Best dog park! My dogs and I love this park. Usually very quiet and not a lot of people. Perfect place to watch the sunrise and for the dogs to swim. Also seems to be upkept very well except for the people who cant figure out how to clean up after their dogs (even though they provide doggie bags)
