Buyer beware! I purchased a washer & dryer set from this business for $474.00 for a used set.A bit I was going to buy a used set off craigslist for half the price, but i was leery of purchasing someone else's junk (I wish at this point). The washer & dryer were delivered and they weren't properly installed or leveled. The washer actually leaned back on an obvious angle, the back self adjusting spring on the rear leg of the washer was rusted in the upward position and wouldn't release to level the machine. I repaired that problem. From day one the washer did not spin properly and the clothes came out soak and wet.. It took the dryer two cycles to dry them. I waited a week and noticed that this was intermittent, but often ( like every other load). The safety electric plate that goes behind the dryer to cover the open plug was never installed, another safety issue. The washer also didn't have the safety switch that stopped the spin cycle when opening the washer lid. Now,I was assured these appliances were "completely" rebuilt with all good parts and no cheap plastic parts that they make today, and that the washer and dryer would last me a good long time. I had asked for refund because i no longer had any confidence in these machines.. Mike explained that they only gave in-store credit and no refunds. but assured me once more that these were good machines and the problems would be taken care of. While talking to Mike, I explained that I wanted the safety switch on the washer lid replaced and I wanted the metal safety plate for the dryer chord installed.I also explained that the washer was not spinning my clothes dry and that they were coming out soak and wet. all this was reported within the first week of the 30 day warranty. "At their convenience", because he gave me an excuse about medical issues, lack of help, etc, they sent the repair guy out. He installed the safety plate on the dryer, did something with the transmission (he said he had to clean the gears) and told me that the switch for the washer lid was on order. He told me after washing the clothes for awhile ( to make sure it wasn't going to intermittently do the same thing) If i had any issues at all with the washer not spinning properly, that he would come out and replace the transmission, and that the switch was on order for the washer.. I tried calling and left messages,and I never received a return call or voicemail even for that matter. Finally on 12/7/2015 Mike the owner answered. I explained to him that i had try to get a hold of someone at his business and left messages and received no return calls. I wanted to let the know that the washer was still not spinning out the clothes properly and also wanted to know if my switch for the washer lid ( that i was told was on order) was in. Mike told me they remove those switches and there was not one on order. I explained to him I wanted that switch on the washer, that it was made with one and it should be on the washer. Mike said they remove all of them and do not put them back on. I explained again that i wanted that switch and the transmission fixed.. He told me they weren't fixing a 4 month old problem. Purchased on 9/22/2015 and had to wait on them and their schedule to fix these issues.. But all the issues were reported to Mike and his employee within the first week of purchase. I explained all these problems were ans issue from day one and all were reported in the first week, and all i wanted them to do was stand behind their products and repair the machines. Mike said, there was no switch on order and they were not ordering one, that i can push the knob in to stop the machine. I proceeded to tell him that again, I wanted that switch and told them that from the very beginning during warranty and his repair guy told me it was on order.. Mike, told me to "shut up" and hung up the phone. We we're sold a faulty dryer that took several cycles to dry, half the buttons didn't work, and eventually started sparking. Mike gave every excuse I felt like he could come up with to dieter the fact that he sold me a bad dryer. Once we got it to him he admitted that a penny was stuck somewhere in the dryer that was causing it to arc and he also replaced a roller and a heating unit in the dryer. We got it back home just for it to run a few minutes before popping our breaker over and over. We contacted him again and once again it was every excuse but the dryer. We finally were able to negotiate to just getting a different dryer because apparently his 90-day warranty does not include refunds but instead only repairs. When we did our exchange thankfully he was not there but a very sweet woman was and that was an easy trade out, no issues. I have no doubt in my mind that he is going to put that dryer back on the floor and sell it to somebody else and potentially put another family's household at risk. As soon as they installed it one of them broke and it took about 2 weeks to get it fixed . I expressed how unhappy I was and how the washer stinks horribly. They did not care . Big problems from the start . I should have been able to get a whole refund and they take their washer/dryer back. I donāt even have the dryer anymore as it broke again. I spent over 1000 dollars on this set so I didnāt have to wait for Loweās to get a set ordered and delivered.
