Faraone Brothers Catering — Attraction in New Castle

It took me a moment to write this review because I cannot say enough good things about Faraone Brothers Catering. They catered my wedding in August and were the most amazing, helpful, and kind business to work with. As a bride, it can be overwhelming to go through so many businesses. Faraone Brothers was upfront & transparent, offered to help with anything they could at any opportunity. I made a lot of special requests as well and I was met with nothing but eagerness and kindness. Faraone Brothers is a true family business that has you at the center. The wonderful brothers that run this place are down to earth and regular everyday people too, not a corporation trying to get everything they can out of you. Freddie is so personable and has the most wonderful staff. Every single person who worked at my wedding were hard working, polite and worked as a team. Then, the food itself was to die for. My personal selection was Chicken Piccata, Pierogies (perfect for a Pittsburgh wedding) corn and green beans. Buns are included complimentary. However, this is just what I picked. Their menu was huge and had so many options. All coming from the wonderful recipes made by their late grandmother. Faraone Brothers Catering also has so many people they partner with. Freddie does his best to be a one stop shop to take some of the stress off of the brides. He works with DJ's, can provide Secuirty, connections to bakers for cakes, certified bartenders, all a reasonable and affordable price. I went through a lot of companies before deciding on them as well and they have the best prices I could find. On your wedding day itself, they will also set up and manage your cookie table. I was lucky enough to have my venue for two days and they came out the day before to set up as well. The skirting and lights for tables as well as tablecloths & colorful napkins were included. Disposable cutlery and plates are provided for your event as well, with an upgraded option of fine china. I sadly didn't get many photos of the food, but you can see in the one photo how good the food looks and my guests are will raving about how amazing the food was. On my tables as well, they provided the tablecloths and napkins, folded the napkins for me exactly like I asked them to be and managed all of my thrifted plates we used. They also poured my toast champagne into my goblets based off a timeline that Freddie took the time to create with me in our final meeting. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They are exceptionally low priced for the quality and service you get. From start to finish the whole experience with them is super easy and fun.

We chose them because we went to 2 weddings they have catered prior to ours and liked their price and product. Then after you use them you realize exactly how much they do for you and it makes them even better. The food is homemade, great quality and so good we’re going to start making the one hour drive to their bar a regular thing. We booked with them pre-pandemic and due to draconian requirements we had to move the wedding about 2 hours away and they still graciously accommodated. The whole time you work with Barb who does your sampling and preview in an intimate setting with your immediate family off site. Then after that you meet with Freddie and Anthony (the very hands on owners) and they seamlessly and throughout go over every detail of your wedding. Anything that popped up they took care of, some of which was in no way, shape or form their responsibility. Their staff was super friendly and attentive from the planning all the way to clean up.

Out of anyone ever ever recommended for anything, I would recommend them as your caterer. They are heads and shoulders above anyone I’ve ever had to deal with professionally.

Side note, I saw a review that the portions were too small. We had 5 people not show up, we had at least 12 extra full serving trays of entrees and sides left, plus a bunch of veggies and fruit from the cocktail hour. There was so much that we fed all 20 people that helped tear down, gave them giant to go containers, gave away a bunch to family and were going to have to freeze some for after...

Faraone Brothers catered and DJ'd our wedding late September at Five Fillies Farm and we are still getting compliments over a month later about how incredible the food and music was! Anthony and Freddie are super easy to work with throughout the entire process, they really make you feel like family when you're with them. The day of our wedding they were incredibly helpful, we had a cookie table and they set up and put away all the cookies throughout the night! There was never a moment where we were short cookies and they were set up so beautifully! They plated my husband's and my own plate for dinner, and our guests never had an empty water glass due to their water service option. They even helped some of our elderly guests with their plates. At the end of the night they boxed up all the food and cookies for us to take home, so we did not have to worry about it.Anthony was our DJ and had the dance floor packed all night long!
