Had a beautiful time hiking this trail once I accepted that I was getting wet. The trail is not well marked this time of year because it cross crosses through water that is very high right now. Hiked through water just over my knees at some points. It was a beautiful hike with almost no one else there but definitely be ready to get wet. It was worth the soggy socks

Seems like mostly a 2mi out and 2mi back. We did it on a snowy Christmas Day and the E Jemez Box didn't seem passable without some risk. The 4mi made for a perfect hike with our leashed dog. Not a ton of parking at the Trailhead though.

Still one of may absolute favorite spots to visit, spring, summer or fall. Water levels seemed pretty high compared to fall which revealed a lot of good fishing spots. Came across some dead animal carcasses and Lion Tracks, so definitely be careful and aware while out there...
