Not a bad place minus the fact the trail colors are wrong its not a yellow trail but a blue one. I tried to run it and since it was snowing i couldn't really see the green and white trail to where it was going. I will go back on a clear day again. its a hidden gem by all means. and no this is not a flat walk in the park the blue trail does have a bit of a kick with some steep incline hills going to the top. at the top where you connect the white green it levels out a little. i just followed the white and green to the road rabbit hill and then back further down past the farm but lost it and went back to the blue. sure if I stayed on that i would...
Read moreGood place to walk, but it is a great place to ride you bike. The trail connects onto River road so you can ride it all the way up to Gaylordsville. Great views of the river and many places to stop and look at the river. You could at that point ride to bull bridge and continue up to Kent on the West side of the river. One day maybe they will add the connector so you can do this without getting onto 7 ( I guess you could go back east on normal roads to come out at bull bridge and avoid 7 right now using...

You can use the charcoal grills that are permanently installed but you cannot bring in any other grills (NO propane tanks allowed). As warm weather approaches you will find that the temperature is much cooler among the forest & shade. It is a gravel walking path.
