I picked up a beautiful NY Strip. About 1.25" thick. It has to be one of the best steaks I ever grilled or ate.

The meat was really flavorful and so tender.

I cannot say enough about the quality and flavor.

Update (November 2024). I just wanted to update my review.

Yesterday I purchased a whole chicken and had them spatchcock it for me. I dry brined it for 24 hours and threw it on my smoker today. I don't like rubbery skin so I cooked it high heat (350 - 400 degrees). It was one of the best chickens I've ever smoked. No comparison to a supermarket chicken.

While I was there i tried a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Without a doubt the best bacon and egg sandwich I've ever had. The thick cut bacon made all the difference.

Went in today after considering going to a butcher for fresher meat and seafoods. I left with a pack of their cheddar jalapeño burgers, their own carolina style bbq rub, and a bag of little necks. I had felt a little intimidated, as I've never purchased at an actual butcher. The staff was SO friendly and welcoming! The meats and fresh fish looked phenomenal! I debated getting some sushi grade tuna, but decided not to. I now wish I had, as I am still thinking about it. The bbq rub is OUT of this world! The mustardy component is my favorite part of this blast of flavor. The the burgers were delicious, and the little necks were perfection. Thank you boardman butchers! I will be coming here from now on whenever I can, instead of buying big brand protiens. SO happy to have...

The best of the best nothing but phenomenal. This place is beyond amazing very accommodating very clean and the meat is just the best I’ve ever had you could spend hours just looking at all the wonderful product that they have in the store. They did the best job I’ve ever seen in a food establishment. Congratulations guys, you are raise the bar higher than anybody could ever raise it in this town. Thank you so much for being here for us and the prices aren’t bad either. We will celebrate you on your year and every year after.
