Hunts Point Flower Market,INC — Attraction in New York

So the location of this Flower shop can be very intimidating for starters. This location has multiple companies working and driving trucks around so don't be afraid to come despite the amount of men in the area. The reason I gave this Flower shop and two star review is due to a multitude of reasons. The first being customer service. This was my first time coming to this shop and inside the store are no clear directions on where to go or who to speak to. I spent sometime off to the side waiting for someone to even acknowledge me and offer me guidance. The second issue is after I made my purchase I was required to come back in half an hour to pick up my order. I walk in head to the back where I placed my order and no one was behind the counter. I saw my order with no label of my name on the counter and grabbed it and left. Again no customer service was present in even in the end. Lastly I took a closer look at this corsage and the orchid didn't look lively and was not fresh for 15$ I guess one could say it would have been worth it if the staff at this location actually took time to attend to their customers. I was so excited to try this place. I got up very early yesterday morning to finally try the place I’ve see all over social media. I selected two SMALL bundles of peonies, a small bundle of some other flower I don’t know the name of, a small bundle of leaves and one mini pineapple. The whole sale price for these 4 items was beyond belief! But I sucked that up because I thought these flowers would bloom and be so beautiful I could no longer be upset about the price I just paid. Not even 24 hours later the peonies are literally falling off the stems. I am livid and will be reaching out to the establishment about the poor quality of flowers they are selling at crazy prices. I just went to this place today for the first time. Since I went to the flower shops on 28th street in NYC 3 times in the past 2 wks, I could clearly see the HUGE difference in quality between the 2 places. In fact, i wouldn't be surprised if hunts point is the last stop for all the flowers that didn't sell on 28th street. Yes hunts point has very good prices, but you REALLY get what you pay for. In the 25 stems of red roses i got,8+ had brown and even moldy, yes moldy petals(you couldn't see it as they are tightly packed). And if the petals are moldy already, I can't imagine how old these flowers are....at least 2 wks... In general, the flowers this place sells just have an over-all left-over feel...I am only using these flowers for practice but in no way am I ever going to use flowers from here for my...
