El Valle — Restaurant in New York

The people here are rude and have no respect. The women here seem racist and hateful. The server seemed like she didn’t want to serve us. They never brought out a dish we ordered. Once we were ready to pay we asked about the food we didn’t receive and she said she had to go get it! We Would have never ordered something if I knew they had to leave the building to get it. The food overall was great. My second visit we decided to not eat in due to our last experience but attempted take out. Worst decision we made that day. This time they had no issues showing us how they didn’t care for my partner and I. Ignored my gf but when I spoke in Spanish she acknowledged me. (My gf is black). The place was empty by the way. Not only did they seem racist they ended up skipping us and taking someone’s order who just walked in. I explained calmly that we were here first and continued to wait. You can just tell that we were not welcomed there and it’s sad. To be treated in such a way bc of how u look or how they think you are should not be allowed. I will never bring any business to them nor will I ever return. An older gentleman was cleaning the tables with windex. Not once did I witness them washing there hands after playing with their hair. The stainless steel where the plates are kept looked extremely greasy. I travel and eat at a lot of places. This by far is the worst one. Businesses like this need to be held accountable for their actions. They are not LGTBQ+ friendly and they def didn’t care for my gf...

The food is not bad. Service is TERRIBLE. I ordered via Seamless. Though it lists delivery as being between 30-40 minutes, I received my order in 1.5 hours. I called the restaurant 45 minutes in just to check when we could expect the food.

Strike one - The woman on the phone sounded flustered and said they had just received the order and it would go out in 10 minutes. Okay, not a problem.

Strike 2 - 20 minutes later, I had my sister call again just to confirm it had gone out. She hung up on her. When she called back to tell her she had hung up on her, and to ask when we'd expect the food, it was then 8 more minutes on top of that we'd have to wait.

I called Seamless to let them know about the awful service. Soon after our food arrives.

Strike 3 - We open the bag to find out that a part of the mini combo was missing as well as the second juice we ordered. There were only 2 meals and 2 drinks on the order, you'd think they'd be able to do this.

We had to call them again and the woman kept asking us if we were sure we were missing things from our order. Unbelievable. We waited an additional hour for the rest of what we ordered.

Not sure how they are in person, but definitely avoid...

I decided to stop by this location for some food. The restaurant is very clean. The staff were very professional and friendly. As soon as I walked in the door, they were ready to take my order. I ordered boneless chicken with white rice and a side of arroz con gandules. The lady assisting me informed me right away it would be about 15 minutes, I appreciated her honesty. There are 3 televisions inside the restaurants for your entertainment while waiting for your food or while dining in. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The restaurant accepts both cash and card however if you pay with card tax will be added. There is also an ATM located inside the restaurant if you need it. The restaurant also has a special on pasta on Wednesdays 1/2 off. The food was so delicious, I can’t wait to go back for more. They also offer various dessert options including Junior’s Famous Cheesecake. I didn’t get to taste any of the dessert options but maybe next time. You can order your food ahead and pick up or order through food delivery apps. The only takeaway from the restaurant was they were allowing customers to come in order and wait for their food...
