During a recent visit to Liberty Island with family and friends, we explored the lesser-known Sculpture Garden featuring "The Five Founders of the Statue of Liberty." This collection, crafted by sculptor Phillip Ratner, honors the visionaries behind the iconic monument: Frenchmen Édouard Laboulaye, Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, and Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, alongside Americans Joseph Pulitzer and Emma Lazarus.
