How surprising, in a year the beach has changed for the worse. It is a pity that people leave plastic bottles, food and garbage. I was there last year, the beach was clean. Now it is very dirty, also swimming in the clean area is not allowed, because of the beach security. There is a small limited area where you can swim. I understand very well for the safety of children. Adults who want to swim in a clean place, I advise you to arrive at 6 pm, the beach security works until 7 pm. The beach is very crowded. ALSO, PLEASE CLEAN AFTER YOURSELF, DONT LEAVE PLASTICS. Would be great to have some vegan restaurant option there and changing clothes , otherwise people use restrooms to change.

This is absolutely a hidden gem that I wish I would have known about sooner. There is a beautiful beach with sand and very minimal rocks and it also has decent parking, along with a huge splash pad for all ages, a beautiful playground that is very handicap accessible, a bar/restaurant and another snack shack type place. Both places have a large combined outdoor seating area. There are also restrooms, picnic tables, and so much more. And it's all FREE (except the food/ drinks) but bring a picnic like we did if you don't want to spend a ton on food. It's an hour drive, easy to find and it is WELL WORTH IT!!!! We will definitely be going back again.

Such a nice little local beach. People are nice. Kids are all well behaved. Dogs are not allowed in The life guarded swim areas. Free,Easy & close parking. Soft sand. Very chill atmosphere. There is a snack bar and restrooms on the premises. About an hour and 15mins from presque isle beach. It was a very nice low key drive along east lake rd to get here. Could have taken 90 but honestly there was a 5 min difference in the time so we took the scenic route. May stop at the Lake Erie state park for a short hike after this.
