Second Update: 1/26/25 - No one from the corporate office has yet to reached out to me or follow up to my email. It has been a month and still no response from this company. Be very careful when parking here as this company does not take ownership of there wrong doing.
UPDATE: 1/8/25 - As of today , no one from the corporate office has returned my call. I also called the parking facility on Monday and Tuesday to speak to the manager âMickeyâ and ironically he is always not available. Itâs disgusting how a place of business can not take ownership for there lack of careless of there staff members a long with returning a simply call back.
Had a reservation from 12/19/24 - 12/25/24. When I arrived to the lot upon return from my travels, I was informed that my battery in my vehicle had died. My vehicle is only 3 years old but I know things can happen. When I went to inspect my vehicle to see if we can get it to jump start, I noticed my lights were switched from Auto to On. This was a careless act on the driver who drove my car to be parked. The worker in the front office did pay for our uber home and they will contact me when the owner arrive. Later on that night, we received a phone call that they were able to jump start my vehicle but would be best to pick it up in the morning when the owner is in the office. I arrived at Vista the next morning at around 7:30am and was informed not only was the owner not in but my check engine light was on and my auto ignition light was on. The workers in the morning did nothing to assist us and gave us the number to the corporate office. Thankfully, I was able to drive my vehicle to the dealership that morning so they can check it out and resolve the issue that Vista left for us. I had to install and buy a new battery and reset the electrical which ended up costing us $400.00. I have been calling and left 6 voicemails from 12/26/24 - 1/2/25 with no call back. When I contacted Vista parking lot directly on 12/31/24, they inform me that the owner is away this week and the corporate office will open on 1/2/25. How convenient that all of a sudden the owner and corporate office are closed but the workers on site couldnât inform me of that when the issue occurred. I still have not received a phone call from the owner or the corporate office. This is all due to careless and not taking responsibility due to there mistake. I highly advise to not park at this location if you are willing to cover any damages...
   Read moreI have been happily using Vista for many years, however tonight was the worst experience EVER. I called Vista from the airport at 12:27am. And then again at 12:42am. The driver finally arrived at 12:50am and literally parked the van in the center lane of the pick-up area, 100+ feet from where we were standing. This would be understandable if that was the ONLY available place to stop. However since it was almost 1am, the airport terminal and pick up area were EMPTY. Well it finally made sense after the driver took his time exiting the van to open the back door. It took 3 attempts of the doors closing on him before he successfully opened the trunk. He then proceeded to WATCH the 5 of us struggle while loading our own luggage into the trunk, including my 8 year old son. He smelled of smoke. And didnât say A WORD to us the entire ride. Upon returning to the lot, I was surprised to see our car was not waiting for us. When I walked inside to pay, the woman at the desk said the driver of the van had to retrieve our car. Yes the guy who just took us from the airport had to park the van and then go to the back lot to get our car. I asked why the car wasnât waiting for us as it usually is. The woman said âwell did you give me your ticket numberâ. I said âyou didnât ask for itâ. She said âwell what do you expect â. I said âI didnât know it was my job to give YOU the information you needed?â Retrieving the car took another 15mins. When the driver pulled our car up, he narrowly missed hitting me and my 3 children. My husband had walked to the back lot to look for him, because he was taking so long. Then the driver backed our car up so fast and almost ran my husband over. My husband went inside to talk to the woman behind the counter and voice his displeasure over the experience. She claimed that it was slow and that our car wasnât ready because there were only the 2 employees working. My husband asked, âare you OPEN right now?â She said yes. He then asked âare you providing a service right now?â She said âyou donât have to park hereâ. And she is 100% right! We donât have to park there! And NEVER...
   Read moreWe have been long-time customers of Vista Parking and so parked in the Newark location June 14-18, 2017 while traveling. As far as getting to the airport and being picked up on the return, all was smooth and worked well.
Much to our dismay, though, when getting in the car to go home, we noticed ants and some sort of vegetative debris in the passenger front door seal. Upon further inspection, ants were everywhere: front and back seats, floors, doors, all outside grooves on the roof and front and back windows. We, too, noticed the berries and bird droppings that another customer mentioned in a previous review.
We told the attendant on duty and they gave us a bottle of Febreze to spray on the ants. Interestingly, the Febreze did kill some ants and we thought that was it, until the next day, they were back in force.
It is now 6/28/17, 10 days later, and after 2 cans of Raid and Hot Shot, and a full gallon of Ortho Home Defense spray, and a Car Wash with undercarriage wash, extra high-power spraying and inside detailing, we appear to be ant-free.
But WAIT . . . yes, there's more. To report the issue, I've been trying to call the Customer Service number ending in 2009 and message says open til 4pm, hit 1 to leave a message. SO did call several times well before 4pm, in fact different times of the day and when trying to leave a message, the VM was full. On Monday 6/26, called the pickup number ending in 9400 and was told to call back on Wednesday between 7am and 3pm and ask for Tommy. Called today around 1:50pm and no Tommy. Was told to call back tomorrow AM, that that was the only way to reach customer service, need to talk to Tommy.
Well, this is a most unusual way to operate customer service. And if Vista thinks being hard to reach is easier than handling customer complaints quickly and decisively, I wish them luck as we will never use them again and will tell everyone we know to steer clear from Vista Parking when...
