I couldn't be happier with my experience at Arterberry Maresh Winery! Steve Mikami is an incredible person who made our visit exceptional. He explained each wine to us thoroughly and gave us ample time to analyze every single one, making our tasting session truly enlightening.
This winery is a hidden gem of Oregon, standing out among the other wineries in the region. My favorite white was the 2022 White Walnut Vineyard Chardonnay, which is one of the best Chardonnays I have ever tasted in my one and a half years of tasting experience. The 2021 Chardonnay Cuvée Tan Fruit is an absolute gem and offers tremendous value for money.
As for the reds, the 2022 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir is a very balanced and easy-drinking wine that I believe everyone will love. The 2018 Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir is a very serious wine that shows perfect balance and length, and it has the potential to age beautifully for a few more years.
Overall, Arterberry Maresh offers an outstanding wine tasting experience with a fantastic selection of wines. I highly recommend visiting this winery if you're in Oregon. You won't be...
Read moreWe seriously couldn't have scripted a better visit. From the moment Martha greeted us at the door of the red barn, it felt like visiting with family. There was no polish or pretentiousness. The experience was charming and genuine. Martha (current winemaker Jim's mom) kicked it with us out on the back porch for a bit as we sipped through a flight. We got to talking, and at one point she fetched a computer printout of an article that Jim had been featured in and was proudly reading it to us. And she has every right to be proud! The offerings here are phenomenal. If you're looking to guzzle through whatever is put in front of you until you make it back onto the party bus, please dear God avoid this place. But if you respect wine and the folks who dedicate their lives to it, you gotta visit the team at Arterberry...
Read moreUnfortunately the tasting room was closed when we visited, so I cannot comment on their wine. However, we had a very nice experience at their property, so I wanted to write this review. We were just driving by this beautiful stretch of road, and when we reached a top of one of the hills, the view was spectecular, so we stopped on the side of the road to take some pictures. The owner spotted us, and invited us to park inside their parking space for our safety. She kindly explained the history of the winery before she took off, and let me take pictures around. Such a friendly encounter really adds a very nice touch to the trip, and we really appreciate that. If we ever come back to Oregon, we will definitely stop by this winery again and would love to do...
