Wildcat — Attraction in Newington

The stars here are mostly for the historical significance of the ride. Definitely worth a ride after reading about the history to appreciate one of the oldest (14th) wooden roller coasters in the world and the oldest wooden roller coaster in New England. The ride itself is harsh...and that's it. No airtime, no real forces, just harsh and jolting. I rode in the second to last row as someone online suggested it as a less harsh ride. If that's true, you should definitely select this spot since it was already quite rough in this ride location. Wow. They fixed this ride in 2024, but I still do NOT want to ride it. It still is very bumpy and rattling, although it is much better than back in 2019 when I rode it then. If you want a good wooden roller coaster in the park, ride Boulder Dash in the very front seat. That is a TON better and still in my opinion, the best roller coaster...
