Lake Compounce — Attraction in Southington

This has to be the worst organized park in new England. First there 10 different lake compounce on Google maps so if you choose the wrong one, you'll be 30 minutes away from the entrance. When you finally figure out which lake compounce is the one that takes you to the entrance, you better have 20/20 vison because the signs that guide you are literally a little 6 inch sign. Then there's an hour line just to park the car. The park itself is tiny compared to others in the area so half your day is spent trying to find this disappointment. When you are in the park, expect lines everywhere, not just for rides. You will be waiting an hour to get chicken tenders and fries. And word of advice, do not buy the bucket of fries. The regular is 90% of the bucket at half the price. They literally over flow the regular fries and put in just over half in the bucket. The bucket family tenders are a rip off too. Just get two regular meals and you'll have just as much chicken with twice the fries and you'll save 10 dollars. This place...

I’ve been going to lake Compounce since I was a child but they have really gone down hill. The crowds are like I never experienced and the prices are outrages. You would think they would be making improvements with the amount of money they charge now but they are not. No more free drinks. The park is filthy: especially the bathrooms, drink stations (which are unusable due to yellow jackets), and water park. Limited shade and seating. Food prices worse than Disney world. Parking prices even increased to Disney prices which is wild to me. Idk who ever is running the place needs to cool it on the fancy new roller coasters and go back to the basics that made lake Compounce a fun and affordable family memory for...

I drove two hours to this park just to have a terrible experience. DO NOT BUY THE DAILY DAY CUP! It’s a waste of money. The drink stations didn’t have any ice and the drinks were warm. I asked their staff multiple times for ice, the first time I was giving a very nasty attitude and the second time I was told that the park didn’t have any more ice. Also, the place looked overcrowded and the waiting lines were insane. This experience was my first and last, I’ll never go back to such place.
