Artsea Craftsea — Attraction in Newport

Artsea Craftsea is the best place in town for a relaxing, no fuss, no muss crafty evening! Lara, the shop owner/operator is superb at helping you head in the right direction with your project of choice. You can walk-in and pick something from the shelves to paint on the spot, at your own pace (and come back) or join one of their canvas painting parties! There is always something fun to participate in. During the painting parties, you can even bring your own bottle wine to extend your enjoyment and involvement with your bestie that came for the fun! To top it all off, this little town of Newport/South Beach is incredibly lucky to have Artsea Craftsea as a community involved small business. Recently we worked with Lara on a fundraiser. The Artsea Craftsea experience was a lovely and unexpected treat on my recent trip to the Oregon coast. The studio was charming, the selection of pottery was immense, and the owner, Laura, was beyond helpful. It was the perfect spot to make my Oregon keepsake, which just arrived in the mail today!

Surprisingly, the pottery you purchase comes with all the supplies and studio time you need to create your masterpiece. Of all the pottery places I have visited, this was a first.

We spent way too much time on our pieces simply because it was such a blast.

Artsea Craftsea is amazing. There are so many different ceramics to choose from, and so many different glazes to use to create your beautiful pieces. You don't have to be an artist to enjoy Artsea Craftsea. Heck I can't even draw a stick figure but I've made so many fun pieces not just for myself but for gifts for friends as well as family members. I swear every time I go to paint she has more new pieces to pick from. This is a great spot for adults and kids. I highly recommend...
