Tyler Park - South Entrance — Attraction in Newtown Township

They make it hard to put a boat in the water and go south from Tyler (two kayaks). But I figured out how: from the Fisherman's parking lot (park here), follow the trail that loops around under the 332 bridge (toward Spring Garden Mill--do not park there). Once under the bridge, you will see where to launch. You can go 3 to 4 miles downstream to Playwiki Park. In May, the water flow was decent but my larger kayak got stuck about 6 times, but the kids kayak just got stuck 2 times (at least a dozen fun little rapids along the way--nothing major). This huge park has everything you need to have fun for an entire day. They got canoeing which you can rent and go out with your freinds. Theres bbq grills for picnics and lots of tables to sit at.
