Tyler State Park West Disc Golf Course — Local services in Newtown Township

Wow, what a fabulous experience we had here! My husband and I just moved to PA and he loves disc golf, this was the closest course to where we live. It's spectacular! Great variety, pretty challenging, has short and long player options, beautiful scenery. Not to mention two courses in one place! The holes were well marked (took some walking, but we didn't really get lost).

My husband loved the course itself as a disc golf player. As more of a support player for his sake and not a great player personally, I loved the course because of how beautiful and quiet it was. There were great walking trails, friendly people, some natural water, and during the autumn leaves peak when we went, it was stunning and worth it to simply walk through the forest to each hole.

Can be extremely challenging when the layout is in all C positions and played from the long tee pads. The only obstacle that Tyler doesn't have is a direct shot over a body of water. There are creeks that run through a few holes on the course. For example, hole 15 has small creek bed that is in play on the right side. Hole 9 has a creek bed when playing C pin. Absolutely one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. Continues to get better and better as the club puts more work into the course. Tee pads can get slick in snow or rain, but other than that there is nothing crazy. The course itself is very wooded and challenging.
