Saw my first show at Langhorne Players today. The play - MARJORIE PRIME - is a wordy but thoughtful examination of how our memories and our stories make us who we are. I was deeply moved by the performance. The actors are uniformly excellent (although a friend with hearing challenges was frustrated because she could not hear one particularly soft-spoken man), and the technical aspects are fine. Our seats in the small, intimate proscenium theater were comfortable with a good view of the stage. The theater staff are particularly warm and welcoming. Ticket prices are on par with other community theaters, and there is plenty of free parking on site. I would definitely return if it weren't such a long way...
