Lakewood Park — Attraction in Norfolk

I grew up at this park and now I get to raise my son here! Love how there is access to boat ramps for kayaks and row boats. The park has great shade and gazaob houses perfect for events. Two baseball fields and a large foot ball and soccer field. A Sunday here you are truly surrounded by community, laughter and fun. Great parking. Love the bathrooms and even have grills. I absolutely love this property it's water surrounding the park there is a rowing club in the area there is a baseball field here a basketball field plenty of picnic tables plenty of places to play with the kids walking your fur babies I truly recommend coming out to take a look at this park or even take advantage of all the things to do here if you are ever in the city of Norfolk stop in and take a look at the park for yourself you will...

Nice tennis courts. My team practices there weekly. Of course it can't be helped that there are swarms of gnats towards the shaded ends of the courts. There's a playground, and a baseball field on the other side of the park. Plenty of shade and places to sit in some spots. The only thing that bothers me is that there's never soap in the restrooms .. I mean, they don't even have a soap dispenser in there. Just don't forget to take hand...
