Saved me from another cold night and $$ of repair!!! The AC fan motor stopped working late cold Friday night due to bad motor run capacitor. I called a HVAC supplier and they told me they don't sell to individual and ask for any local shop that does. They referred me to an appliance store which is closed on Saturday, great! So I Googled appliance parts store and Trible came on the list, and I'm so glad they're open on Saturday. I called and ask if they sell the capacitor, and luckily, they do. I drove there and when I got there I've been straight honest that I'm not a pro and told Doc (sales rep) about what happened to my unit. He has been so kind to help me out test the capacitor and he was sure enough that it was indeed bad. He even told me how to safely handle a capacitor and give a quick overview on how to install them. I'm so glad I went to Trible. No BS, no scary stories for DIY guy like me, but instead, they took care of me professionally. I will definitely shop there again in case a need arises! I highly recommend this place and customer service is excellent! Thanks Doc for your help, as promised five star for you...
Read moreI called to see if they had the past I needed, the guy on the phone was nice but very unprofessional. He let me know they had the part and it would be $119 and said he’d hold it for me because I couldn’t get to the store that same day.
We found the fan motor online from the manufacturer for $55, but it did not include the plastic covering or the actual fan which all together would have cost about $95. We opted to pay the extra $24 in order to be able to have the part immediately instead of waiting for shipping.
The next day my husband and I went to the store to get the part and found out that it did not include the fan or the plastic covering. So they are charging more then double for a part that we can get from the manufacturer. And what’s more is the woman at the desk had the worst attitude and was extremely unprofessional.
Save your time and money. They over charge to the extreme and have...
Read moreSpoke with JP trying to find a few parts. he was more helpful in five minutes than the three days I spent on the phone and Internet, chat and text chat with Samsung and all of their third-party vendors, including Sears. I was literally told by one Samsung Rep “I cannot give you the part number because it is something that requires diagnosis and it’s not a DIY fix item” even though it was not a warranty issue and I didn’t need a diagnosis. I live down in the Outer Banks and it is impossible to get appliance help. Norfolk is a drive for me, but I will definitely be dealing with them...
