I was on business travel for a few days, and this was a nearby place to grab a quick lunch, and I ate here for a few days. Inside the cafe, there's a stack of menus which you can review while you wait in line to order. They sell hot and cold stuff, along as frozen (or very cold) for larger reheat meals. They have refridgerated cold stuff like salads, and sandwiches if you don't want to wait for them to make it after you order it.
I had their hamburger ($10?) one day, and it was cooked well, and the toppings were good. The burger comes with a bag of Lay's chips or house chips, but you can opt for some dirty chips for an upcharge. I tried the house chips and these were fantastic. They tasted almost like plantain chips, like I usually at home.
The next two days, I had their chicken ceaser salad ($10.50), and it was good. The chicken felt oven-baked with generous portions on top and you can pull it apart easily with a fork. The dressing was also great, and you could choose the croutons or the house chips. The croutons didn't add much to the salad, so I opted for the house chips on the second go around.
I did grab some dessert on 2 of the 3 days! The salted caramel big cookie ($2.50) was tasty. The third day I had the snickers cheesecake ($5.25) and it was rich and creamy. The snickers was just the topping and wasn't incorporated within the body of the cheesecake, but it was good nonetheless.
It is a small space, and while you wait for the cooked-to-order stuff, you can work on a puzzle that everyone tries their hand in. The food does seem to be a little higher than your typical fast food establishment, but it does taste good, and was a convenient walking distance to where I was working. The staff was helpful and friendly.
I did not have any pictures, but it's...
Read moreWas just looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch, and Google listed this place. Had a very cheerful person behind the counter and asked about a menu, she handed me one and started telling me about the place and answered all the questions I had. When I walked in my attention was grasped by a pretty large couch (the waiting area which I thought was very cool). I ordered the Reuben sandwich and Havana lunch special, both brought to me in a timely fashion.
There's a large fridge in the lobby with premade meals ready to eat so if you're ever in a rush, there's that convenient option.
There's an option for Paleo meals which sounded cool, so I'll give that a try next time. My Reuben was very large and very delicious, and I ordered mine with tortilla chips and black bean salsa, also delicious. The Havana is a monster and also very delicious, filled with meat and pickles.
I would definitely recommend checking this place out, as you may find your next...
Read moreToday was my first time buying food from here, I ordered a cheeseburger no buns, lettuce or any veggies just their homemade salsa cooked medium. It was cooked perfectly however they also failed, I got lettuce, tomato and onions and no salsa, the burger itself was pretty average. My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben on Rye and would have been absolutely perfect except for the fact that it’s put in the typical styrofoam container and by the time you get to it, it’s soggy. Omg the meat was the closest meat can get to cotton candy as in the way it almost melted in your mouth. My wife had German chocolate cake and I had something that had multiple layers of flavor that I can’t remember the name of it tasted of coffee, Carmel, chocolate and spice cake. I obviously tasted that Reuben and honestly I would put it in the top 3 corned beef...
