Not a fan anymore after the pandemic. This last time the crabs weren't properly cleaned before frying. And on top of that they were extremely old looking and dry inside. The steamed crabs are steamed right along with the trash from the pond they came from. And although they were served to me hot, they still managed to look aged when opened. On top of that, the crabs have absolutely no flavor and I'm not talking about drowning them in sauce. True crab eaters know fresh crabs should have a sweet taste even with nothing on them. On the positive side: They have good batter in this location so the crab battered shrimp were nice. But knowing what I know about everything else, I won't be back for that either. I know it's a lot of work to clean and fry a crab but don't offer it if you're not going to do it right. The one star was for how nice the lady was as she was taking the order. The parking lot smelled delicious so that was a good sign. When we walked in the place was much smaller than I expected. We ordered 2 combination steam bag with garlic butter seasoning medium spicy 🌶️🌶️. They included 2 snow crab clusters, 12 shrimp deveined with no head, potatoes, and corn. The crab was fresh and perfectly cooked. The garlic butter seasoning was a little creamy but it was absolutely finger licking good! I definitely recommend this! We also ordered a side of fried rice which was very flavorful and some Cajun wings. Now, I did expect something a little different coming from Texas, the wings reminded me more of a Chinese chicken wing which were also delicious and slightly battered and crispy. I can't really say anything bad about here because actually ate here before but drove up to it for my daughter having a craving for crawfish but ended up changing her mind. I got fried tilapia before but it was just ok. It's an Asian seafood fast food restaurant, so no seasoned flour or extra seasoning on the fish so it was just that. Fried fish. Had to add extra salt and hot sauce to enhance it. It was freshly fried, so it was a hot cooked plate. I hate tiny crinkle cut fries, and the slaw and hush puppies both could have had a little more sugar for my liking. Lemonade was good though. They did smile, and seemed to understand only the "Number" of what I ordered so it wasn't that much conversation past the order. They were quick and I didn't wait long.
