The Weir Hill Park is a part of the Trustees of Reservations. The Trustees have many parks, gardens, museums, and estates through out Massachusetts and I support becoming a member. If you elect to start the trail from the lot, the uphill climb is a bit strenuous (but the view once you get to the top of the hill is worth it). If you haven't hiked this trail before, and figure doing the loop on the yellow trail along the lake and back to the parking lot ... just want to point out that the yellow trail branches off and is not clearly marked once you pass the lakeshore. It got very confusing, even by hiking...
