Alpental — Attraction in North Bend

The mountain is phenomenal. I'm here to give everybody a heads up of what else Alpental has to offer. For those interested in eating in the lodge, I hope this reaches you. The customer service is embarrassing, and the employees completely lack respect, patience, or guidance. I will never order food or drinks here ever again. Not because of the prices like most people review about. I can handle the cost, simple because when I'm here, I expect to pay given the area I'm at. We visited Alpental for the first time mid January on a Monday. The entire place was practically a ghost town. Just a handful of people skiing. Only 3 lifts operating. Extremely icy and dangerous with very steep terrain. I am an expert skier so I hope that on a future trip to WA they I will get to experience this place with lots of powder. I am just baffled and perplexed by the lack of people on a Monday. But it was so great to practically have a ski hill to yourself so...

Great late winter/early spring ski trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of the staff when a member came up to me and asked me if I needed help regarding address the parking permit. Clean public eating and restroom facilities. Staff even went out of their way to rescue my ski pole after dropping it on a chair lift. Thank you Alpental staff!
